Position : Snowflake Admin

Location : New Jersey (Onsite)

Duration : 12+Months (Contract)

 

Job Description::

Responsible to architect snowflake implementation and database design

·         Create warehouses, databases, and all database objects (schemas, tables, etc.) and access management policies 

·         Analyze production workloads and develop strategies to run Snowflake with scale and efficiency

·         Experience in Snowflake performance tuning, capacity planning, handling cloud spend and utilization 

·         Lead all aspects of database security both at infrastructure and application level including recommending encryption, masking, and hashing where applicable.

·         Design and develop secure access to objects in Snowflake with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

·         Define and automate DBA functions

·         Employ recovery methods and agile development with Time Travel & Cloning

·         Develop operational best practices, monitoring, defining SLAs, and measuring metrics

·         Define and document best practices and support procedures and help on call team
