Role: Databricks skilled Product Owner

Job Description:
A pioneering firm specializing in data analytics for healthcare systems, providing services critical to maintaining the integrity and quality of care in the healthcare system is seeking a highly-skilled, hands-on, federal contract-experienced Databricks Product Owner. This role is pivotal in supporting the use of customers' Databricks-based enterprise analytics platform, which is hosted on AWS and serves hundreds of analytics users, contributing directly to our contract with the Federal Health Agency.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a Databricks expert, product evangelist, and the voice of the customer.
· As a team leader with hands-on expertise, he is responsible for delivery, support, and continuous product improvement in the federal environment.
· Work cross-functionally to gather Responsibilities, customer feedback, and communicate priorities.
· Experience with the latest E2 Databricks as a service platform.
· Create mockups and prototypes to assist with the development
· Analyze metrics to understand customer and product performance
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data analytics needs, translating these into Databricks product requirements.
· Drive the implementation and usage of Databricks within the company, ensuring that it meets our data analysis and processing needs for our AWS-hosted infrastructure.
· Define and manage the product roadmap for our Databricks-based analytics platform, aligning it with the strategic goals of Explore Digits Inc. and our Federal Health Agency contract.
· Act as the primary point of contact for Databricks, managing vendor relationships and resolving any technical or service issues.
· Provide user training and data coaching to enable effective data access and analysis using the Databricks platform.
· Develop and maintain training materials to support end-users in the effective use of Databricks.
· Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and security policies in all Databricks usage and processes, focusing on the security standards required for our AWS-hosted infrastructure.
· Collaborate with our legal and analytics teams to support Medicare Fraud Analytics investigation activities supporting our Federal Health Agency contract.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
· 5+ years' of experience in Product management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Scrum or Agile experience
· Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in the data analytics or healthcare sector.
· Strong understanding of Databricks, AWS cloud services, and their ecosystems, with relevant certifications being a plus.
· Experience in user training and data coaching, particularly within a Databricks environment.
· Experience in Healthcare Fraud Analytics or related legal activities is highly desirable.
· Strong technical understanding of data analysis tools and methodologies.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
· Solid understanding of data privacy laws and regulations, particularly in the healthcare sector..
