1)Role: Data stage Developer/ ETL Engineer

Location: New Jersey, NJ

Client: Williamsons

Duration: Long term

Any Visa is accepted / H1B transfers also accepted

Minimum Experience: 8+ Years

 

 

Key Tasks / Description of role:

·         Responsible for hands on development of data pipelines using ETL tools and related technologies

·         Responsible for managing, optimizing, overseeing and monitoring data retrieval, storage and distribution of data

·         Identify ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality

·         Toggling use cases and ensure optimal reuse / simplification across projects

·         Work with the Data Architects/Product Owner/Scrum Master with regards to sprint planning

 

Required Experience and Qualifications:

·         Must have significant (5+ years) hands on ETL & ELT development experience with one of the top ETL tools in industry (Informatica, Ab initio, Data Stage, SSIS).

·         Experience with source control systems.

·         Experience with Azure dev Ops or TFS is a plus.

·         Good knowledge in database query and tuning a must

·         Experience with MSFT tech stack is a plus

·         Experience with various scripting languages/tools, data formats, networking concepts.

·         Background in data management, data integration technologies and handling large volumes of data effectively mandatory.

·         Experience from Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms & Cloud ETL tools preferred. (Nice to have).

·         Deep Good knowledge of various database design /architecture, warehousing, modelling and mining.

·         Any experience with modern programming languages(Java, C#, Python etc) is a plus/nice to have

2)Role: Sr. Data Engineer / Aws Data Engineer

Location: Richmond VA

Client: Capital One

Duration: Long term

Any Visa is accepted / H1B transfer also accepted

Minimum Experience: 6+ Years Mandatory

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s Degree

·         At least 2 years of experience in application development

·         At least 1 years of experience in big data technologies (Cassandra, Accumulo, HBase, Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, AVRO, MongoDB, or Zookeeper).

Required Qualifications:

·         Master's Degree

·         3+ years of experience in application development

·         1+ year experience working on streaming data applications (Spark Streaming, Kafka, Kinesis.

·         1+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure or another public cloud service

·         1+ years of experience with Ansible / Terraform

·         2+ years of experience with Agile engineering practices

·         1+ years in-depth experience with the Hadoop stack (MapReduce, Pig, Hive, Hbase)

·         1+ years of experience with NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra)

·         2+ years of experience developing Java based software solutions

·         2+ years of experience in at least one scripting language (Python, Perl, JavaScript, Shell)

·         2+ years of experience developing software solutions to solve complex business problems

·         2+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux including basic commands and shell scripting.
