Position: Salesforce Release Engineer 

Location: Remote - Must support Phoenix based hours

POSITION SUMMARY:

Coordinate and manage Salesforce release updates, including sandbox

management, change sets, and deployment activities using Gearset or other

DevOps / Release Automation tools.

PROJECT INFORMATION:

The DevOps release Engineer is involved in every project requiring

Salesforce deployments.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Deploy updates and fixes to production and sandbox environments

* Work with developers to perform root cause analysis of production errors

and resolve technical issues

* Source control management including branching strategies and merge

conflict resolution

* Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

* Document process

* Train developers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

* Excellent communication skills

* Experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role

* Experience with Salesforce releases using automated tools

* Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows

* Branch management

* Working knowledge of databases and SQL

* Problem-solving attitude

* Collaborative team spirit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience in customer support

* Salesforce admin or dev experience

* Gearset

* Jenkins

* DevOps certification
