Role : Front End Developer

Location: Seattle WA or Bay Area

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Interview process – 2-4 rounds including deep dive coding exercise question  - pls set expectations with candidate .

Job Description:

·         Be a productive member of the team, accountable for building world class user interfaces and API surfaces across all Adobe's cloud businesses for Customers accessing Support. 

·         Participate in all aspects of software development activities including design, scoping, coding, code review, unit-testing and bug fixing 

·         Convert mock-ups and designs into full pages complete with CSS, HTML, and JavaScript primarily using React JS. 

·         Work with our Product team during requirements analysis. 

·         Working in cross functional teams to ensure superb end-to-end user experience for our customer 

·         Works under minimal supervision on mid-level complex programming tasks.  

·         Provides analysis of problems, recommends, and implements solutions.  

·         Commitment on improving existing code, writing testable code and delighting our customers. 

·         Adhere to architecture, security and change management guardrails, follow and enrich internal standards and best practices and work to bring on future technologies that improve platforms, efficiency and scalability to the systems.  

Experience: 

·         3+ years’ experience as software engineer doing web development using the skills below.  

Knowledge & Skills Must haves: 

·         Exceptional HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills 

·         Strong Experience (3+ years of experience) architecting large single page web applications in React JS 

·         Additional experience in AngularJS or another comparable JavaScript framework 

·         Experience with build tools, such a Gulp or Grunt, as well as transpiling, minification, concatenation and other build-time optimizations 

·         Knowledge of security concerns when developing Single Page web applications 

·         Knowledge of optimizing client-side performance 

·         Experience working with REST based web services and integrating with other server-based APIs 

·         Strong testing discipline and experience using Jasmine, Karma, Selenium or another comparable testing framework 

·         Knowledge of technology trends such as ES6, Web-components, JavaScript frameworks and architectural designs and concerns 

·         Exceptional knowledge of JavaScript design patterns as well as object oriented and functional design 

·         Strong front-end debugging skills 

·         Proficient in use of one or more IDEs like Visual Studio, Eclipse, Xcode 

Other Preferred Skills: 

·         Experience with Cloud Computing and Cloud Services (Azure, AWS) 

·         Experience creating data visualizations using client-side JavaScript libraries 

·         Java experience a plus 

·         Experience with source code control 

·         Experience with Agile Software Development techniques 

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Front End Developer , Intake meeting notes: 

 

Summary : This role is a migration from Angular to ReactJS.  

 

·         Person must have min 3 years strong ReactJS experience .  

·         Must be senior level not jr  

·         Experience on writing single page applications( Rest API’s )  

 

Person to be on PST , either bay area or Seattle WA as will be working closely with Seattle teams . 

 

Education:  

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
