Collaboration and Conferencing Governance Specialist

Design and delivery of governance capabilities for Collaboration and Conferencing and related services with focus on Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Conferencing technologies.

 

Must Haves for this role:

·        In depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft 365 with expertise in Security and Compliance Center.

·        Experience in Microsoft 365 Tenant, SharePoint, Teams, Power platform related to governance.

·        Experience in conferencing services with focus on Zoom related to governance.

 

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

·        7+ years of experience in a rigorous business environment, in an IT function consulting and supporting Microsoft 365 ecosystem and conferencing services, including Zoom.

·        In depth understanding of the capabilities of Microsoft 365 with expertise in Security and Compliance Center.

·        Experience in Microsoft 365 Tenant, SharePoint, Teams, Power platform related to governance.

·        Experience in conferencing services with focus on Zoom related to governance.

·        Demonstrated experience in solution design, build, deployment, management, adoption, and support of Microsoft 365 services for governance teams.

·        Demonstrated experience engaging business teams towards adoption of compliance policies and processes.

·        SharePoint power user capability (Design, build, manage SharePoint portals for compliance reporting) is preferred.

·        Experience working with all phases of the Software Life Cycle, creating SLC related documentation and project delivery. Experience with the Agile methodology a plus.

·        Experience with platform demand management or IT Service Management is preferred.

·        Excellent communication, diplomacy, writing and interpersonal skills

·        Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.

·        Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously, work independently with minimal direction

·        Strong personal organization and work management skills; planning, prioritization, execution focus. Be a self-starter.

·        BS or related degree in information management or related studies.

 

 

ROLE:

·        Assess current use of Microsoft 365 services and conferencing technologies and provide solutions towards enabling new capabilities/optimizing use.

·        Stay current with and champion the latest changes in the Collaboration and Conferencing environment so the candidate can continuously enhance user experience of governance processes.

·        Align governance processes to the organization policies, technology roadmap and the business strategy – ensuring the alignment of governance requirements to technology for future and existing Collaboration and Conferencing services.

·        Analyze governance needs and design/develop solutions to solve business problems leveraging Microsoft 365 functional capabilities and conferencing technology capabilities including (but not limited to) Zoom.

·        Elicit, document, and partner with compliance, security, technical teams to gather and translate requirements into functional and system requirements, create related SLC documents and collaborate on testing, implementation, and project delivery.

·        Conduct demand management reviews, research new Collaboration and Conferencing technologies, and assess impacts to existing governance controls aligned with the demands.

·        Consult on Collaboration and Conferencing capabilities, solutions, and features to business teams - promote user adoption, ownership of applications, content, and sites with stakeholders.

·        Analyze and build/manage SharePoint portals for governance reporting.

·        Assist developing standards, governance principals, usage guidelines and adoption methodologies for collaboration tools

·        Develop training and educational documentation related to governance project implementations.

·        Proactively monitor health, usage, and overall audit compliance around access and security within all Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Conferencing technologies including Zoom.

·        Assist with audits of Collaboration and Conferencing services and platforms.
