Job Description:   

SAP’s Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution will help GROM’s Client ensure strategic alignment in planning, prioritizing and monitoring potential County projects. PPM will allow the client to manage a projects full lifecycle from the planning state to tracking and accounting to completion and reporting. PPM will also provide an overview of the entire County project portfolio. GROMs Clients planners will have the ability to monitor budget and resource levels, identify risks and make mid project adjustments. PPM provides robust reporting to maximize project visibility including project to date cost analysis, forecasting, what-if scenarios and the impacts of changes to the schedules, resources or costs of a project. The solution will provide an easy dashboard for the project planners to review and report project progress and performance and to adjust resources between projects in the portfolio. 
 
We are seeking help to define and document the specific business requirements and critical activities that must be performed to setup and configure SAP’s PPM module to meet the clients organizational objectives via various workshops. The deliverables for these workshops are as follows:
 
▪ Business Requirements Document (BRD) – Identify the business requirements.
▪ Statement of Work (SOW) – Define the work required to implement the PPM solution.
▪ GAP Analysis – Identify any gaps in functionality and organizational readiness.
▪ Support Plan – Identify the system resources, personnel and overall plan for supporting the solution identified in the blueprinting sessions.
▪ Cost Estimate – A high level budgetary cost estimate for implementation of the project.
 
 
The candidate(s) must have a proven functional background, with at least three years of experience gathering requirements, implementing and/or supporting SAP Project Portfolio Management module;
o The candidate(s) must have completed more than one implementation of Project Systems, FICO, HCM or CATS integration with PPM
o Ideally candidate(s) should have completed an implementation from an outside database into SAP PPM.
o Have good SAP project management skills and experience following SAP Best Practices;
o Public sector experience; Prior project management experience in Public sector
o Identifying hands-on activities as related to Project and Project Portfolio integration and/or touch points (i.e. BW, HCM, CATS etc);
o Bringing best practice approaches for the customer to consider in a variety of areas including transport, testing, design, prototyping, training, defining support requirements and procedures, etc.;
o Ability to develop a Business Requirements document, Gap Analysis document, Organizational Readiness document including the ability to conduct related research and work
o Experience with writing related customer documentation to be used for future reference;
o Good communication skills (written and verbal);
o Team player;
o Speak and write in English well;
o Ability to plan and organize work and responsibilities; and
o Good facilitation skills.
 
Professional Services Work to Include:
• Coordinate and facilitate Workshops for the purpose of defining and documenting the specific business requirements and critical activities that must be performed to meet the clients organizational objectives for the future implementation of Project Portfolio Management.
• Design, develop, and deliver a Business Requirements Document (BRD), a Statement of Work (SOW) for future implementation, a Cost Estimate and a Gap Analysis for Project Portfolio Management.
• Define County staffing requirements for implementation and ongoing support of Project Portfolio Management.
• Provide clear and concise deliverable documentation.
• Other related activities as required.
