Role: Sr. Salesforce Developer

Client: Capital One

Location: Richmond VA

Duration: Long term

Visa - Any Visa is accepted (OPT, CPT, H1B, H1B Transfers, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, USC, E3, L2-EAD)
Minimum Experience: 9+ years Required

 

Responsibilities:

·  Write, design, code, test, implement, debug, and validate applications; document design decisions and develop modular software components; monitor system performance metrics, and identify potential risks/issues.

·  Collaborate in an Agile scrum team with product owners and fellow software engineers to deliver upon most important business and technical priorities.

·  Provide active mentorship/guidance to fellow members of the agile tech team and participate in internal and external technology conference & communities.

 

What you would expect to work on here:  force.com technologies including SFDC triggers and controllers, VF page development, sObjects, and SOQL, Batch Apex and/or Schedule Apex development, Object Oriented Languages (Java, C# and Go), Cloud Based Technologies (AWS, DevOps and Serverless), Front End Frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), Cutting Edge Data Tools (Python, Spark, Machine Learning) and Next Generation technologies (AI, Blockchain).

 

Basic Qualifications:

·  Bachelor’s degree

·  At least 3 years of experience in software development

·  At least 2 years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Salesforce.com Administrator Certification or Salesforce Platform Developer Certification.

·  5+ years of experience with the Salesforce development toolkit including Apex, Test classes, Triggers, Visualforce, HTML, CSS, JQuery, SOQL/SOSL, Force.com IDE and migration tool.

·  3+ years of experience with Service Oriented Architecture

·  3+ years of experience with the AppExchange tools.

·  3+ years of experience supporting Salesforce.com configuration tasks such as field/page updates, workflows, validations, custom permissions, and approvals.

·  3+ years of experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation, and load, (ETL) tools.

·  3+ years of experience with SOAP/REST API development.

·  3+ years of Agile Scrum Methodology experience.

·  2+ years of experience converting business requirements into solution designs

·  1+ year of experience with Lightning.

·  1+ years of experience leading or facilitating sessions to define and document business requirements.
