Role: Qlickview Developer
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: 6+ Months
Needs some 3-5 years of experienced profiles.
Job Description:
Design, develop, and implement business intelligence solutions (analytic reports and dashboards) using QlikView Enterprise on prem, Qlik Sense Enterprise on prem, Qlik Sense SaaS, and NPrintingWork in collaboration with Business and IT teams to build and enhance business intelligence and analytic reporting solutions for internal and external customers using a suite of Qlik productsWork with stakeholders to identify opportunities for new and creative solutionsAttend continuous education classes to maintain strong functional knowledge of the Qlik ecosystemProvide maintenance and support to internal developer community and end usersResearching, troubleshoot and fix issues in the Qlik on prem software suite as they occurSupport requests for business user and developer trainingAssist with review and prioritization of incoming project requestsAnalyze and enhance existing data models for performance improvementsAssist in the management, maintenance, and upgrade of the QlikView, Qlik Sense and NPrinting infrastructures including development and production environments.
Qualifications:
3-5 years’ experience developing in QlikView, Qlik Sense developing complex, user-friendly solutions
3-5 years’ experiencing creating and disbursing reports using NPrinting Proficiency with Qlik Sense and QlikView server architectureProficiency with building QVDs and QVWs applying business rules and data validationsStrong background in data models and scripting (especially SQL and Qlik scripts)Ability to design and develop useful, yet intuitive and user friendly, solutions Proficiency with documenting best practices and supporting governance across a distributed teamProficiency with converting QlikView apps to Qlik Sense appsA commitment to continuous integration, unit tests, and using automation to ensure stable, scalable, and quality deliverables.Experience utilizing JIRA and Confluence (or comparable tools from other vendors).Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skillsSelf-starter ready to solve problems proactively High level of comfort working collaboratively with members of all functional areasStrong communication and customer service skillsProficiency in written and verbal communicationAbility to effectively multi-task and manage prioritiesBachelor's degree from accredited college/university degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or similar disciplines
Preferred but nonessential skills and qualifications:
Experience with Qlik Sense integrations including extensions, mashups, or server-side analytics extensions (SSEs)
Previous government, chemical or aircraft industry knowledgeQlik technical certifications (Qlik Sense SaaS admin)JavaScript or other front-end development experience
