Role: Senior Informatica to ODI Migration Specialist
Location: Dallas, TX/Remote

Duration: 6+ months contract

Visa: USC only

We're seeking an experienced Senior Informatica to ODI Migration Specialist to lead the migration of Informatica ETL processes to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). The ideal candidate will have expertise in both Informatica PowerCenter and ODI, with a proven track record of successfully migrating complex data integration workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assess and Analyze Existing Informatica ETL Processes: Evaluate current Informatica workflows, mappings, and sessions to identify migration requirements and potential challenges.

· Design and Develop ODI Mappings: Create equivalent ODI mappings, transformations, and workflows to replicate existing Informatica functionality.

· Migrate Informatica Workflows to ODI: Convert Informatica workflows, sessions, and mappings to ODI, ensuring data integrity and performance.

· Optimize ODI Performance: Tune ODI mappings and sessions for optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

· Test and Validate Migration: Develop testing strategies to validate migrated ODI processes against existing Informatica workflows.

· Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with data architects, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure migration meets business requirements and data governance standards.

· Document Migration Process: Maintain detailed documentation of migration steps, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements:

· 8+ years of experience in data integration, with expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (8.x or higher) and Oracle Data Integrator (12c or higher).

· Strong understanding of ETL principles, data modeling, and data governance.

· Proven migration experience: Successful migration of complex Informatica ETL processes to ODI or other ETL platforms.

· Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and ODI Studio.

· Problem-solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

· Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with technical and business stakeholders.
