Location: Houston, TX onsite

Experience: 8–10 years

 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Jira/Confluence, UI/UX principles, and data engineering , MDM concepts. The ideal candidate will bridge business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration between stakeholders, designers, and engineering teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for complex projects.

Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers to translate requirements into actionable deliverables.

Utilize Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and workflow management.

Contribute to UI/UX discussions, ensuring user-centric design principles are applied.

Understand and communicate data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling.

Perform gap analysis and propose process improvements for efficiency and scalability.

Create detailed functional specifications, wireframes, and process flows.

Support testing and validation of solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in technology-driven environments.

Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for agile project management, experience in MDM (Master data management)

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to collaborate with design teams.

Knowledge of data engineering concepts (ETL, data pipelines, data modeling).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Exposure to SQL and basic data analysis
