Job Title: Sr. Python Backend Engineer

Location: Mclean, VA (Onsite Hybrid Mode)

Duration: 6 months contract (Possible ext)

Visa: Independent visa candidates only

Interview Info:  1 Round Zoom Video (Coding Test)

 

Team Info:

•         Card Tech-Decisioning Platform

•         Deprecating Scala and moving to Python

•         Tech Stack: Scala, Python, AWS (DynamoDB, Lambda, Step functions) & React based UI

•         Team of 6 Engineers (5FT & 1 Contractor)

  

Role Info: 

•         Hands on Sr. Python Backend Engineer (80% Application Dev & 20% DevOps) role with strong Python, APIs & AWS background.

•         Application based development & CICD Development

•         API development

 

Top Skills:

•         Python/Scala exp is a must (HM prefers Python)

•         AWS (SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Step functions)

•         APIs exp is a must 

 

Nice to have:

•         React

•         Data Bricks

•         Snowflake
