SAP MM Senior Consultant – Requirement 

 

Job Title:

 

Senior SAP MM Consultant / SAP MM Lead / SAP S/4HANA MM Architect

 

Experience:

 

12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP MM (Materials Management), including at least 2–3 end-to-end implementations and S/4HANA exposure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Lead and own the SAP MM module including:

• Procurement

• Inventory Management

• Invoice Verification

• Logistics Invoice Verification (LIV)

• Account Determination

• Special Procurement Processes

• Drive business requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design.

• Translate business needs into functional specifications for ABAP and technical teams.

• Configure and customize:

• Organizational structure (Plant, Storage Location, Purchasing Org, etc.)

• Master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Purchasing Info Records, Source List)

• Procurement processes (PR → PO → GR → IR)

• Lead S/4HANA MM transformations, including:

• Business Partner integration

• MRP simplification

• MATDOC

• Inventory Management simplifications

• Integrate MM with:

• FI (Account determination, GR/IR, invoice posting)

• SD (Third-party, intercompany, drop shipment)

• PP (MRP, BOM, production planning)

• WM/EWM (warehouse processes)

• Ariba (if applicable)

• Manage testing phases:

• Unit testing

• Integration testing

• UAT support

• Cutover and Go-Live

• Provide post-go-live support and hypercare.

• Mentor junior consultants and offshore teams.

• Participate in project planning, estimation, and delivery governance.

• Support audit, compliance, and SOX requirements.

• Prepare documentation:

• Business Blueprint

• FS/WRICEF

• Configuration documents

• Training materials
