NoMethodError: undefined method `to_fxml'

I am running RestfulX 1.3.1 with Apache2 + Passenger and Bundler.

I have followed the setup instructions to the letter, but the RestfulX
gem is still not loading (or, if it is, it isn't working properly)

I posted this last night, but haven't had any replies. Does anyone
have a clue what could be amiss?

I installed RestfulX as a plugin, and all is well.

... at least it works :-)
