SRI-for-SM from SMSC not HLR

Hi,

I have established ss7 connection between two SMSCs, the scenario is like this:

ss7sim ↔ SMSC1 ↔ SMSC2

The point to note is that there is no HLR configured with SMSC2. Now I am sending an SMS to SMSC2 from ss7 simulator but SMSC2 is returning a SRI-for-SM Resp to SMSC1. Why is this happening? SRI-for-SM response is always generated from HLR.

Hi Baymax,

there is an configuration option for that in Restcomm-SMSC (kind of Internal HLR);

check if it's not set.
