I stayed there for 3 days in family suite and here is my detailed review of the same. The location of the Annai Residence is the best part. It is located very near to almost all the tourist places in pondicherry. Most beaches are 1-2 kms from the Annai Residence. Only auroville was around 15 kms. But that we managed because the reception guy helped us with two wheeler rental service. Coming to the rooms, family suite is big and spacious with 3 beds and 1 mattress they will provide should you book for 4 people. Restaurant room service is not that great. They will have specific timing to serve tea and dinner. Like we were served tea only after 12 pm. But they have a buffet breakfast which is not complimentary. The staff were polite and helpful. Bathroom was clean and everything was working. Some electricity issue happened during our stay but the Annai Residence staff were quick to sort that out. They can definitely improve on the quality and cleanliness of sheets, blankets and towels. All looked like they are being used since long. Food was okay. Will suggest to order from outside. Overall we had a comfortable stay in the Annai Residence.
Stayed one night with family at this Annai Residence. The location is on the main anna salai road, with adequate parking at basement. Location is little away from the beach area. Reception & check in /out is too smooth and first. Have a inhouse restaurant but purely veg. Working hour is also too limited. Room no 101 allotted was too spacious and equipped. The toilet also good. No electric ketley, inadequate nos of charging point, tv with very limited hindi/english/no bengali channels. The manager on duty, the restaurant staffs all were very helpful. Overall good stay.
Nice ? rooms# Rooms are good and pleasant. The Annai Residence has the best price and good staff. I traveled with my family. There is no issue from the Annai Residence and surrounding they are good places to visit. there is full safety and camera are available in the room premises. Air conditioner is working good . The office staff is good and polite and quick response. Everyone can enjoy the day. Nice experience in the Annai Residence. you people will feel nice and wow experience in the Annai Residence premises.
The Annai Residence is located on main road. Walkable distance to aurobindo ashram and promenade beach. The rooms are large size. The beds could accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. And also an extra bed. Buffet breakfast has variety with south indian food menu. Overall good stay. Limited parking but available in basement. The Annai Residence has a restaurant and also many other restaurants nearby. You can walk to promenade beach. Most of the lanes opposite lead to beach.
Early check in access was given to me, but they charges for early check in. Hotel is located in the main center and all needed shops or anything are at walkable distance itself. Room is so clean and perfect with all the eminities they mentioned, well behaved staff with respect. Totally a value stay for a family or couple, this is the best place to stay. We have booked 1 rooms at this budget Annai Residence in market area. Best part is that rock beach, sri aurobindo ashram, vinaygar temple, museum, french colony type attraction at 1 km. Car parking available, Annai Residence management is good response check in and check out. Staff is good service. Ac remote not work. Water heater not available. Bathroom tap some leaking water. Overall ratings is good.
I just wanted to thank make my trip for guidance. Our stay at annai residence was comfortable and with out any issues. Rooms were clean and staff were very helpful. We were family of 4 along including 2 kids. The option provided by make my trip team was very comfortable stay in a single suite room which can accommodate 4 people easily. Once again thank you make my trip team for all the arrangements.
The Annai Residence located near to rock beach and many restaurants are nearby. Location wise it is very good. Parking also excellent. They have only veg food service. The rooms are big and all services are good. Hot water availability at night was awesome. The Annai Residence seems to be old. There is a scope for renovation. However the current amenities are commendable considering the price.
The rooms of the Annai Residence should be spacious enough to accommodate the guests and their luggage properly, it should not only be spacious but comfortable with all the necessities and luxuries like a tiny fridge having chocolates. Etc. A large tv with a king-size bed for comfortable sleep at night.
