Hey Everyone - as if we needed yet another social sharing option in our arsenal of social apps INSTAGRAM just announced a new update to their app called "Stories." 

It's exactly what you're thinking. Instagram is trying to blend snap chat features into its app. Now users will be able to add a story that will disappear after 24 hours and wont appear on your profile grid or in feed. 

To see this feature update your Instagram app to 9.0 from the app store.
