Three Weeks Until RESTFest!

Ok, with just over three weeks to go, here's the latest news.
ATTENDANCE TRACKING
We have 34 ppl signed up so far. 50 is optimal although we could handle a few more. Feel free to share the registration link w/ friends and colleagues. RESTFest is a great place to meet new ppl and we're always looking for new POVs and skills to share.
WE WILL START TWEETING THIS WEEK
We'll start sending out tweets this week thanking sponsors and recognizing participants and their talks. We'd love to include YOU in this tweet-stream! To make sure you get some twitter-juice from the @RESTFEst account, be sure to update your profile page w/ at least one proposed talk topic.
Of course, we'd love it if you'd RT the tweets from the @RESTFest account. Also feel free to post your own SocNet announcements using #RESTFest and/or @RESTFest.
HACKDAY UPDATE
The hackday this year is a "bake-off" on a ToDo API spec that has some twists including the possibility of "sending" ToDo items to others. Our goal this year is to give folks a chance to team up and build APIs quickly and easily. Tools, frameworks, languages, and media types are all up for grabs. Be sure to check out the HackDay page for details.
We also want to encourage folks to add more details to the spec, create and share their own docs, descriptions, etc. This is a great chance for us all to learn from each other on how we build APIs. A sample ALPS description of the API was added -- we need lots more examples including pointers to Swagger, RAML, and others.
STACKDAY OPPTY
Friday AM is usually StackDay -- a chance for you to show off your favorite library, tools, etc. We've only got two ppl signed up so far and usually like to see at least five or more.
If you're enjoying a library, tool, language, etc. feel free to sign up for a 30 min slot.
PROFILES, PROFILES, PROFILES
Be sure to add your profile to the wiki. We have about a dozen so far -- only 1/3 of those signed up. This is a chance to post your proposed talks, tell us a bit about yourself, and get to know others who will be attending.
*Warning* I will eventually start calling ppl out by name if they have forgotten to fill in their profile <g>.
EXTENDED TALKS
Every year we like to give attendees the chance to deliver an extended talk (30 mins or so) instead of just the usual 5in5. If you'd like to deliver an Extended talk, be sure to indicate that on your profile page and we'll work as many into the schedule as we can.
