2) so, i try to export as DXF, and all surfaces through the popup were converted as meshes to make things easiest and keep layers inside , after opened sketchup i click file-> import -> DXF, the file was recognized correctly but was a unique block with the layers loaded, so i must explode it to separate and achieve surfaces layered, but this option stucks sketchup that finally crashs with a splat- popup, however the file imported as DXF is not easy to manage, sketchup runs really slow and finally the only thing i can do is close it and retry with another attempt as collada or 3ds! the experience is the same, HORRIBLE, slow, and Insane.

Ok, i toke a look around and I thought it was a sketchup plugin for exporting files... simlab is a cad program (never heared before today) that is capable to export in several other 3d file, but the problem remains, cause if i try to export from simlab as skp it goes crazy after few minutes and remains stuck for ever with their spinning logo

i think the issue , the real issue is discover a way to ease the original file. there are in the warehouse whole exterior\interior skechtup projcts that are about 10MB or more. mine in 3ds format almost 100Mb in DXF the took 700MB and we 're talking about interior scenes! too much

using moi3d and exporting my files as 3ds (6mega with low poly option and run like a charm) i think the skp engine of moi could be a better solution i will try tomorrow, now i'm tired to experiment further

I am looking for all of the additional 3D software out there that can take Softplans DWG file and enhance the capabilities of it to make way better 3d Videos and Renderings. Advanced house plans out of Omaha, NE has some Videos on the bottom of their web page that are incredible. We called the and asked what program they use and I was surprised when the said softplan. But they didn't want to give away their secret in how they make those ultra clear 3D walk though videos. Does anyone have an idea what program they used?

I use lumion for high end renderings. Softplan's renderings are great for working with clients to show what things will look like on their project. Lumion was purchased only for our own use in selling stock plans. I'm still learning it and its got a pretty steep learning curve so far. Mostly I just don't have as much time to devote to it with our current workload. The attached is with maybe 10 hours learning time and definitely needs improvement but I'm getting there. The nice thing is softplan has a direct export to sketchup feature and lumion is 100% compatible with sketchup so its an easy process.

I use a program called Simlab Composer 8.1 VR Edition. It works great for softplan renderings. What you do is you can import your 3D model via 3DS or Sketchup file (plus many more file formats) and then setup lighting and materials then setup sky and sun and then render. Please look up their website at www.simlab-soft.com for more details. I have been a user of this program now for about four years and love how easy it is to use. Also by using (if you want to) the VR mode you can interactivly move through your model and interact with doors, lights etc by setting up animations (very easy to do). If you would like more info please go to their website. I was looking at lumion but could not afford it so here is a less cheaper option. For my version it cost me $299 when it was on sale. If you contact them (by giving them your email) they will let you know of sales when they have them.

Dominic....can you post some samples done with Simlab? I have it as well and haven't had much luck with finished imports. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of tutorials with the program. How did you learn to use it?

I export my 3D models to Sketchup and use V-Ray to render them. It too has a fairly steep learning curve but I am getting better with it (slowly). I have tried other renderers and I prefer the results from V-Ray to anything else I have tried.

I use Lumion for all high end rendering work. I've found the workflow process and final results unmatched. I can send you some samples of work we have done, just let me know if that would help - or you can feel free to give me a call sometime.

If you have Softplan+ then you can export in multiple formats.
Have the 3D tab open, and click file, Softplan+ Publish, You will see 4 different options (Sketchup, Google Earth, Lumion FBX, STI).
I personally use Lumion for all Renderings. I find that Softplans 3D is a really good tool and LOD is very good, all the assets are very well made, can always tell that its a rendering compared to when I see it finished in Lumion.

Simlab Solidworks Importer For Sketchup Crack FilesDOWNLOAD really need to look at what your end product will be and the most appropriate pathway to get there. The cricut will most likely need vector graphics, like .svg to cut from. There are various solidwork converters and viewers available, I look at some of them and see if you can get something workable from there. Then think about using sketchup for modelling ideas and something like inkscape to produce nice smooth cutting .svg files.SimLab SolidWorks importer for SketchUp plugin, enables users to import SolidWorks parts and assemblies (*.sldpart, *.sldasm) into SketchUp. The plugin is capable of importing SolidWorks files up to version 2015, and is supported on SketchUp 2015, SketchUp 2014, SketchUp 2013 and SketchUp 8.So Ive made a chair on 3ds max and now i'm trying to export to sketchup. I've used a lot of different options to do that but the problem continues the same. No matter what I do my skecthup file is always too big to later share on sketchup warehouse. I have 2 max files of this chair with small differences. Both sizes with 10mb and 31mb. I've managed to compress both to 1,02mb and 8,26MB (on 3dsmax). I've already used the following methods:DWG importer for SketchUp plugin enables SketchUp users to import DWG files (2013 and prior) into SketchUp, where they can be edited. DWG is the native format for several CAD packages including AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, and Caddie. DWG is also supported non-natively by many other CAD applications. The plugin is supported on SketchUp 2013 and SketchUp 8, on Windows, and on SketchUp 8 on Mac. 28789f854f
