Live your first sensations in car thanks to our fleet of 13 Renault Formula by combining a driving experience followed by baptism into F1 three-seater. Fly our 'Baby Formula 1 "for 40 minutes and then embark as a passenger in a three-seater F1 for 2 laps. Magny-Cours Grand Prix circuit, 4.4 km track.

Welcome to an exciting future! A 2-seater electric coup, Renault TREZOR Concept is the beginning of a new cycle of concept cars and explores the styling and technology of future models. With its warm style and its services geared towards driving pleasure, this electric GT embodies our vision of future mobility and our passion for cars.

On the bonnet, Renault TREZOR Concept has a honeycomb-shaped air inlet that recalls the rear bodywork structure. On the driver's side, the fuel flap has been replaced by an analogue gauge that indicates its charge level. At the rear, the fibre optic signature lighting incorporates a red laser light.

With its predominant red colour, the interior design of Renault TREZOR Concept is sensual and warm. It focuses on driving pleasure by using top-quality materials such as wood and leather. Combining craftsmanship and technology, the cockpit foreshadows the even sleeker, more stylish, more connected interiors of our future models.

A nod to classic racing cars, Renault TREZOR Concept invites you to step across its threshold and enter its passenger compartment. The sporty, sensual aspect of the vehicle's doors is emphasised by the red leather covering the upper pillar of the bodywork. The headrests automatically move back as if to invite you in.

Surprise! Renault TREZOR Concept reveals a red wooden dashboard that incorporates a luggage compartment. Tailor-made trunks, held in place by leather straps, sit alongside deep red, smooth leather seats. The sleek line of the dashboard highlights a high-tech interior with a large touch screen. The rectangular steering wheel also has touch screens instead of the traditional controls.

Explore the smartly optimised cabin featuring space for 5-7 people,
flexible seating modes with detachable third-row seats, up to 625-litres of
boot space, and lots of storage possibilities for all your essentials.

One of the standout features of Triber is its safety. Suited with the latest BS6 step 2 compliant* features, it keeps you protected and assists in safer driving. Even the 4-star GNCAP rating for adults and 3-star for children cements its status as one of the safest 7-seaters.

In terms of exterior design, Renault has only shown us a small portion of the tailgate in the official teaser but this was more than enough to reveal the extent of similarities with the smaller Austral. After all, earlier spy shots showed that the two SUVs will share a large portion of their bodywork, including the entire front end, the LED lighting units, the surfacing, and most of their greenhouse.

If the connection between the Renault Austral and the Espace reminds you of the rival Peugeot 3008 and 5008 SUVs, note that all four models were designed under the direction of Gilles Vidal, who jumped from Peugeot to Renault in late 2020. Based on the camouflaged prototypes, our associates created a rendering that accurately depicts the profile of the new Espace. Chances are that Renault will also offer a range-topping Alpine trim with sportier looks and high-tech features.

It has been confirmed that the sixth-gen Renault Espace will measure 4.72 m (185.8 inches) long, making it a full 21 cm (8.3 inches) longer than the Austral, but 14 cm (5.5 inches) shorter than the outgoing fifth-gen Espace. It is also slightly longer than the mechanically-related Mitsubishi Outlander.

As for the seven-seater Espace, this will allow families with more than three kids to take them all for a ride thanks to a set of extra seats at the back that will be able to fold when not in use. Below you can see a rendering of the cabin layout, showing what to expect from the Frech SUV.

As depicted on the rendering, the dashboard of the Espace will be carried over from the Austral. This means it will get the OpenR cockpit with a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 9.3-inch head-up display. However, in order to differentiate the Espace, Renault designers could integrate more storage solutions around the cabin, as a homage to its minivan heritage.

Like most ICE-powered models from the Renault Group in the C and D segments, the new Espace will be based on the tried-and-tested CMF-CD architecture. The platform also underpinned the previous generation of the Espace (2015-2022), but it has been upgraded in terms of chassis setup and compatible powertrains as proven by newer models. The SUV could inherit four-wheel steering and multi-link rear suspension from the high-end trims of the Austral, benefiting its ride and handling credentials.

We will learn more about the new Espace very soon, as Renault has confirmed a spring 2023 debut, and French media report it will break cover in March. The SUV will not only replace the outgoing fifth-gen Espace (2015-2022) that will soon go out of production, but also the second-gen Koleos (2016-2022) whose sales never took off. Rivals in the D-SUV segment will include the Peugeot 5008, Skoda Kodiaq, VW Tiguan Allspace, Nissan X-Trail, Honda CR-V, and Toyota RAV4.

If you need to take the family and the dog for a ride, then opt for the 5-seater LIFE model which is perfect for South African families. Furthermore, if you are a person who loves to travel with your tribe on epic road trips, then the Triber really lives up to its name with a 7-seater TRIBE mode. To make it even more exciting, we can source Renault Triber seat covers to help turn your car into something special and unique.

With the recent launch of the Triber in South Africa, we were privileged to be one of the first dealerships to put it through its paces. The following Renault Triber Review is based on our first impressions (and boy are they good!).

For starters, the Renault Triber has some very impressive fuel consumption figures for a Multi-Purpose Vehicle and is also surprisingly big on space. This along with its ample safety features means it is both an affordable family vehicle as well as a very competent urban runaround.

From its fully digital instrument cluster with LED illumination to its driver and front passenger airbags to its front power windows and Radio with FM/AM tuner, Bluetooth audio streaming and hands-free calls this is a vehicle that is future proof. In fact, we enjoyed driving the base model Triber as much as we did because of the functionality, safety and comfort features which are standard across the entire range. Of course, these features just get better as you move up the trim levels, which are the Renault Triber Expression, the Renault Triber Dynamique and the top model Renault Triber Prestige. The top of the range Prestige was our favourite however and it comes standard with:

With its unmatched performance and impressive Renault Triber Fuel Consumption Figures*, this is a vehicle that is perfect for any South African driving conditions. From long summer road trips to visits to the local shopping centre in midwinter, the Renault Triber base model to top model not only offers you the boot space you need but also the fuel consumption performance figures to make it one of the ultimate family cars currently available in South Africa.

Renault may not be a strong force to reckon with as it once was, but the brand still has a long way to go before being discarded completely. Before that happens, the French carmaker has planned out its appropriate remedial measures. The company is now banking on the new-gen Duster to bring back its glory days, especially in the Indian market.

Along with the Duster, Renault is also planning on bringing out a seven-seat SUV based on the same. An initial concept model, named Dacia Bigster, broke covers a couple of years back. Now, a test unit of the upcoming three-row SUV has come to light. Images of a camouflaged prototype have surfaced on the internet recently.

Based on the CMF-B platform that sees duty on many Renault-Nissan products globally, the 7-seater SUV will share many elements, including body panels with the upcoming Duster. At 4.6 metre, the 7-seater utility vehicle will be around 300mm longer than its smaller sibling. This will result in changes to the side profile.

For starters, the SUV will have larger rear doors in comparison to the Duster. It will also have a slightly longer wheelbase. Styling cues will also be borrowed from the Duster with a similar front fascia featuring the Renault branding on the nose flanked by the signature Y-shaped LED elements on each side.
