Downloading Ledger on Windows 8

Hi

My name is Tan and I am new to this group. I came across Ledger Bookkeeping software and think that this is exactly what I require for my needs.

However, every time I download I am unable to find it on my C drive. Am I doing something wrong here? Can anyone help please?

I'm using Windows 8.1. By default the software installs into

C:\Program Files (x86)\Responsive Software\Ledger

However, if you click on C:\Program Files (x86)\Responsive Software\Ledger\Ledger.exe

you'll get an error - the software has a bug .. it 'hard coded' looks for directory C:\Program Files\Responsive Software\Ledger\Database

So to fix and run:

1) Copy 

C:\Program Files (x86)\Responsive Software

to 

C:\Program Files\Responsive Software

2) Click on

C:\Program Files\Responsive Software\Ledger.exe
