Cashbook Feature Request

The situation is:

• I create a new cashbook entry
• I greatly customize the ledger entry linked to it.
  
• I realize that I got the credit/debit reversed or the got numbers wrong on the cashbook entry.

As it is now, I need to delete my customized leger entry, modify the cashbook entry, and do the customization all over again. The part where I need to delete my work and start over again is painful.

It would be nice if I could edit a cashbook entry without deleting the customized ledger entry first. When I click 'save' at that point the customized ledger entry wouldn't be modified but it would still be linked. Then I could go into that ledger entry to make things consistent again.
