Hello to our Engaged Community!

We welcome you to attend our first monthly supporters meeting for 2026. We look forward to talking, learning, and sharing ideas on how we can together fight sand mining, deforestation, water quality degradation, and reckless development. Here is an agenda for the evening:

6:00 - 6:15
Updates from CLWC on our mission, strategies, campaigns, recent activities and victories, sand mining bills in Senate Ways and Means Bond Bill, and the upcoming court trial for 71 Hedges Pond Road (Meg Sheehan)

6:00 - 6:20
Updates from Responsible Solar MA (Katherine)

6:20 - 6:30
Updates from Towns: please join and speak up about what is going on in your town that you would like help with, bring attention to for the group

6:30 - 6:50
Open Q&A with environmental attorney Meg Sheehan, who will answer questions on any topic, including the legal process, and tips for advocacy

Wrap up. We will send out specific volunteer requests in a follow up email after the meeting. If you are interested in taking a lead on organizing volunteers for a specific campaign or action in your town, please say so during the meeting.
