I don't know if I was really "discovered." I kinda hustled my way through. I did casting workshops, tons of extra work, then I started meeting agents and managers. I got my first manager by telling him I was a better actor than whoever they just signed and I guaranteed I would book a job and work more than them. Haha. I was cocky as shit. But I knew I just needed a chance. Little by little I started working. My first big job came from Mara Brock-Akil on a show called The Game.
This question is always hard because there's so many. Will Smith, Denzel Washington, Idris Elba, Brad Pitt, Steve McQueen, Ryan Gosling, Sidney Poitier, Harrison Ford, Samuel Jackson, George Clooney, and that is just the men...I could go on for days.
And probably most important of all, fans!! I'm inspired every time I meet people who connect or relate with some character from a show or movie I've done. When someone tells me they've seen themselves on screen because of a character I've played, it is mind blowing. It makes the craziness of this industry worth it and makes me want to work harder and keep exploring.
There was a threesome scene in season two that was pretty crazy. Just a normal day at the office, butt naked in bed with two strangers and a bunch of cameras watching us for twelve hours. Ya know, your average Tuesday. I also shot some pretty crazy and very tech specific stunt scenes in the film, The Maze, that I just wrapped in South Africa.
For me it's important because I love connecting with fans. I wouldn't be here without the people who watch and support everything I do and social media gives me the chance to connect with them. Sometimes one on one and sometime hundreds of thousands at once.
I don't think there's just one. That's one of the reasons I love what I do. Yesterday it may have been a superhero, today it can be an icon from the past, and tomorrow it can be a regular guy. The list grows and evolves as I get further into my career, am exposed to more and read more.
Know your craft. Study. Know actors, directors, writers, watch everything. Be a student and love it. Don't be afraid to fail and get used to hearing "no." Once you get used to it and learn to not take it personal, the journey becomes so much easier.
Will Smith and The Oscars will forever be linked after the slapping incident heard around the world involving the actor and Chris Rock . However, some on X are wondering out loud why Will Smith is banned for his actions but John Cena going nude on the Oscars stage got to fly without a hitch.
Cena elected not to run across the stage but instead was naked save for covering the front of his privates with the nominee list. The award was given to Holly Waddington, who worked on the film, Poor Things .
Throughout cinema history, there have been some iconic nude scenes that have transcended the bounds of the films in which they appeared. Our weekly column Anatomy of a Scene's Manatomy will take an in-depth look at these scenes, their history, their deeper meanings, and their legacy. This week, Will Smith goes to extraordinary lengths to avoid kissing his co-star on screen in 1993's Six Degrees of Separation.
John Guare's play Six Degrees of Separation was a scathing indictment of the upper-class liberal yuppies living in Manhattan in the late 80s and early 90s. A well-off white couple named Flan (Donald Sutherland) and Ouisa (Stockard Channing) are paid a visit one evening by Paul (Will Smith) a young black man who has just been mugged, but claims to be acquainted with their Harvard-attending sons. He charms his way into their home, in the middle of a dinner party, where Paul soon charms the assembled guests with his cooking skills, his witty repartee, and his claim to be the son of illustrious actor and civil rights activist Sidney Poitier.
This couple and their friends, so eager to prove their bleeding heart credentials by lending a hand to this man, turn a blind eye to many red flags and inconsistencies within his story. Flan and Ouisa invite Paul to stay with them, give him money, and basically welcome him into their home by taking his story 100% at face value. Of course, when they return after running errands the next morning, they discover Paul in bed with a hustler (Lou Milione, credited simply as Hustler), causing chaos in the house...
There's nothing overtly controversial in the scene itself, other than the fact that a rising star was clearly naked in bed with a VERY naked man, and extended male full frontal in 1993 wasn't the norm just yet. Will Smith wasn't quiteWill Smith just yet either, so even the mere suggestion of him playing a gay character seems commendable... until you dig into the controversy surrounding the shooting of another scene in the film. A little after this scene, we get a flashback showing that Paul didn't attend Harvard so much as he was homeless in Boston at the same time a computer nerd named Trent (Anthony Michael Hall) was attending the school.
Trent served as a sort of Henry Higgins to Paul's Eliza Doolittle, training him in the ways of the upper class so he could convincingly pull this same con, time and again, and make it convincing. In exchange for the names, crucial information, and addresses to the parents of several of Trent's classmates, he requests sexual favors from Paul. The first request he makes is for a kiss, which is shot from behind Hall's head, completely depriving the audience of that crucial moment in Paul's descent as a character.
I'm not in any way, shape, or form saying that this is an excuse, but it's why Will Smith in 1993 decided he didn't want to risk the fallout from kissing another actor on screen. Just as NewNowNext found out with their column about the kiss controversy, it's tough to find the exact quote now, but Wesley Snipes was the only prominent African-American actor to call Smith out at the time...
From time to time our dictionary must put aside childish things, leaving off the crowd-pleasing aspects of lexicography (such as establishing the precise moment at which the past participle form of a verb completes its functional shift and may properly be described as an adjective), in order to focus on the unglamorous, but necessary, aspects of word-wrangling.
Both buck naked and butt naked are of an informal variety of English; you are unlikely to have cause to use either in writing for school, or most types of work. Buck is the older of the twain, but, given the linguistic register in which such words are typically found you should really just choose the one that brings you the most joy.
There is hardly a single person who could resist the charm and charisma of Will Smith. A good singer, a talented actor and all these things about Will. This male celebrity is also very photogenic. Magazines often invite him for photoshoots, which is not surprising. After all, this guy looks very sexy almost without undressing.
Paparazzi love to photograph Will Smith shirtless. Indeed, the actor is in great physical shape. His chest is so wide and pumped up and his small nipples complement it perfectly. Separately, it is worth noting and his wonderful 6-pack abs, which this guy seems to be paying special attention to. Most often, half-naked Will Smith can be seen on the beach and the paparazzi do not miss these moments.
I bet Will Smith nude movie scenes will keep you horny for a long time. As it turned out, this Hollywood actor is not averse to flaunting his bare ass. And besides, this male celebrity even managed to show his hairy balls in one of the scenes.
Will Smith did a great job in the movie Focus (2015). Hot and passionate sex scenes with him will blow your mind. After all, Will Smith gladly demonstrated his nude body during passionate sex. Oh, his bare buttocks clenched and relaxed so seductively with every movement of his cock!
I, Robot (2004) was also very exciting. It looks like Will Smith had to train not only in the gym, but also on the set. After all, this handsome man was in excellent physical shape! It was impossible to look away from his rippling muscles. And when he took a shower, his wet body, especially his butt, looked breathtaking!
Will Smith also starred in the Wild Wild West (1999). His passionate kisses with his girlfriend will definitely turn you on. In addition, Will Smith will even show his cock with balls there in one of the scenes. And you can see his bare buttocks in close-up!
