Hi everybody,
today I sent a letter to Yahoo. I just went into Yahoo.com and sent this letter to every possible link:

Ladies and Gentlemen:

It is common knowledge that YAHOO is working together with the Alibaba Company of a certain Mr. Ma. Mr. Ma on the other hand is involved in heavy trading in shark products, through his Alibaba Co. They are promoting and sponsoring the killing of so many sharks, that the impact on the worlds shark population is devastating. Over 100 species of sharks are already at the brink of extinction. If we continue this kind of slaughter, they will become extinct during the life of our generation. That is no exaggeration, just ask scientists, the UN, CITES or any environmental organization.

Sharks are very important if not essential for maintaining the biological balance in our oceans. If the sharks die the oceans die and if the oceans die the human race cannot survive either. That's how bad the situation is. If YAHOO would take the lead in making sure that Alibaba stops the trade of shark products and stops sponsoring the killing of millions of sharks, your company would be doing the world a great service. Every environmental organization would sing your praise and you would be known as one of very few companies who have placed the protection of our environment above profits. Mr. Ma and Alibaba do not have the right to destroy our environment for profit and neither does YAHOO.

I would appreciate an answer from you, which I will place on my web-site and will publish it wherever I can, be it positive or negative. I hope you will show enough responsibility to make it a positive one.

Sincerely,

Jupp Kerckerinck zur Borg
