Online registration is now open for theTransformations and Applications of Folkloristic and Ethnological Knowledge: Historical Perspectives on Public Practice symposium, which willtake place May 27 – 29 at IDEAS in Aix-en-Provence and the Salagon research center in Haute-Provence, France. This symposium will explore the transformations and applications of folkloristic and ethnological knowledge in historical perspectives, and their impact upon contemporary heritage policy and public practice. All presentations will be in English.
The symposium has been organized by the Historical Approaches in Cultural Analysis and Cultural Heritage working groups of the International Society for Ethnology and Folklore (SIEF).
