Installation and Running Problem

Hello
i actually have two different Problems:
first while working on already installed resp version on a virtual Box
with Ubuntu version 9 it suddenly start to give me error when i try to
upload a archtecturefile.py after make any change on it. and i had to
restart the machine to make the Resp upload the file in startsim
correctly (i do not make any change in file after the error just
restart the machine) and after a several restartes the ./waf simply
crached i tried to clear it or reinstall the resp but it did not work.


on other hand i started installing a new version with a new virtual
image on ubunto10 but i had a problem with the boost lib :

and when i tried to download it and install it manually it gives me
that it is conflicted with the already installed lib :
libboost1.40-dev and so on.

so any advice how to solve either problems

Thanks i just delete every thing and reinstalled a new version in a
new folder to solve the waf problem and it keep cracking after some
runs and i keep reinstall it
