Hi,

I am a beginner, and I want to know what is the recommended way to get
started? Is it to use the virtual machine with ReSP preinstalled or to
get the latest source from svn and install in on Ubuntu 10.04?

If virtual machine is updated with the latest version of the ReSP then
how can I get access to ReSP ready SFTP described in Wiki as "A
Virtual Machine running with VirtualBox v3.0 is distributed on the
project project SFTP server with a version of ReSP already configured
and compiled. The user can simply download it and directly start to
use the tool."

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

The best way to start is to actually install it on your machine with
Ubuntu. You can find some detailed documentation in the doc folder in
the source code.
In particular, there is a user manual with a few tutorials.

You can find a script in the source tree (install_lucid.sh or something
similar) to automatically download all the dependencies needed for the
compilation.

Therefore, a good way to start is to download the code via svn (follow
the instructions given by googlecode) and then take a look at the manual
(in PDF).
