I want to check the installed version of RS. How do I accomplish
this? I cannot find any reference to the base code version number,
only the additional modules. I am running everything on ubuntu.

Thanks in advance.

Should be something like...

domain.com/ResourceSpace/pages/check.php

Thank you, however this does not show me what version of ResourceSpace
code I am using.... i think....

It has the PHP version, MySQL version, GD Version, and the install
checks. Nothing about the RS code.

if you right click View Source the information should be in the header. If you're running on SVN, you need to cd to the resourcespace directory and type  "svn info" to see what revision you've got checked out.

I know this is an old thread but I looked a the version file in the include folder and it states version as SVN so i have cd to the directory and run svn info but get

svn: E155007: '/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/assetbank' is not a working copy

Where else can we find the version number?

Thanks

Hi,

It looks like you're running an export from Subversion. In that case the revision number is not available as it's not a Subversion check out, and as it wasn't an official release zip file there is no release number included in the code.

We don't recommend using an export from Subversion - it's not the recommended route in any of the installation instructions.

You can do an 'over the top' check out to bring your system up to date.

Definitely take a backup first!

cd <path to your installation>
svn revert -R .
