no thumbnail for SVG files

Hello.

we have a problem with the creation of thumbnails for SVG files.

with other files, png, jpg, giv and mpeg, we had noch problem.

if i upload a SVG files, we get no thumbnail.

I found the following entrys in the logs.

I found a similar issue that appears to be resolved in Exiftool version 11.66 here:

I noticed this issue on one server that is running Ubuntu 16.04 and so I will need to install package from source to bring to current version.

Update exiftool to the latest version and you’ll need to make sure Imagemagick has the delegate for SVG installed. - J

It it helps, I was able to resolve the same problem by doing the following on an Ubuntu 18.04 server:

Compile and install the latest version of ImageMagick: https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-install-imagemagick-7-on-ubuntu-18-04-linux

Compile and install the latest version of Exiftool: https://linoxide.com/linux-how-to/install-use-exiftool-linux-ubuntu-centos/

Installed Inkscape (Imagemagick uses it for SVG conversion): apt install inkscape

Made sure that $imagemagick_path = and $exiftool_path = in config.php pointed to the correct locations for the newly installed versions (They installed to /usr/local/bin/ on my server)

After that SVG works well.
