Hello,
I’m trying to migrate and update an installation of Resourcespace 8.5 on OVH shared hosting to version 9.7 on an AWS virtual machine.
I created the new clean installation of RS 9.7 with Bitnami Launchpad.
This clean installation seems to work perfectly.
I created a new database (to keep the default database of the clean installation).
I imported the tables from the old version 8.5 into this new database.
I modified the config file so that the new version of RS connects to the imported database.
In the RS 9.7 configuration file, I also copied the keys from the RS 8.5 configuration file.
This seems to be needed to allowe me to connect to the administration of RS 9.7 with the identifiers of RS 8.5.
I copied 2 resource directories - to test before copying everything -
from the / filestore of RS 8.5 to the / filestore of RS 9.7.
I can visibly see all the resource entries (I guess that means the imported database connection is working).
However I do not see any images, videos, or documents …
No thumbnails either.
Instead I have colored blocks.
I can’t download anything.
All resources are marked ‘Offline resource’
As if Resourcespace 9.7 doesn’t see any of the copied files in the / filestore folder.
Help is welcome
Thank you
