Hi, on a new install which all works nicely except for one thing. If I upload a logo which is all black, in PNG format with transparent background (i.e. in Photoshop it shows a checkerboard behind the logo), the preview box in RS is just solid black as it's displaying a black logo on a black background. Is there a way round this? Can it retain the transparency, or can I change the black background to white instead?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Tim.

This was address in revision 5244; you'd need to upgrade to at least that revision for proper GIF and PNG transparency handling. It replaces the transparency with a checkerboard pattern identical to Photoshop.

Thanks Jeff, I'm on version 6.1.5219 which I downloaded and installed yesterday, are you saying I need 6.1.5244? If so where do I get that?

Thanks
Tim.

I'm sorry, you'll have to wait for the next release or check out from SVN.

Thanks Jeff. Is there a way to change the default black background to something else? That would help us greatly, a pale grey or something would be ideal. I assume it's a colour reference somewhere in the code?

Many thanks again
Tim.

I believe if you search the group you'll find some hacks that will give relief until you upgrade. Sorry!
