Hey,
I've looked around a bit, but I couldn't find a concrete answer to use the filename of files as the resource title. The topics I've found are from 2012.
Use case:I want to upload 1000 files, the filenames of these files represent what they are. I wish to use the filename as the title of the resource. I do not want to use a custom title that's applied on all 1000 resources, or edit each resource one by one.
Why do I want this?- So all titles represent what the resource is, without having to edit each resource to do this.
- So the mass bulk replacement can replace with the title, as long as the filename is exactly the same.
Preferred solution:- Solution 1: When the 'title' field is left empty, files will use the filename as title.
- Solution 2: A checkbox, with label stating: 'Use filename as title'.
Non-preferred solutions:Solutions that alter the core code of ResourceSpace in any way, as this will break when updating ResourceSpace.
I'm not sure if this is already possible in ResourceSpace but I can't find a lot of information in either the documentation or this place. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance!
