Hi everyone,

I took several JPEGS into ExiftoolGUI and inserted keywords with tag definition -XMP-dc:Description.

In a recently installed ResourceSpace I configured a Metadata field for keywords and wrote '-xmp-dc:Subject' into exiftool field. After that I uploaded my files, asuming, that all keywords now should be mapped into ResourceSpaces Database.

However, when I search for one of the keywords in ResourceSpace, I got zero results. Can anyone tell, what I got wrong? Is '-xmp-dc:Subject' the wrong syntax? Unfortunately, the RS-Documentation seems not very specific about this topic.

My RS version is 8.3.10754, running in a test environment on Mamp under MacOSX Yosemite. Exiftool is installed and available in ResourceSpace.

Sorry, I have to correct myself: The tag definition was not '-XMP-dc:Description' but '-XMP-dc:Subject', of course.

Try removing the leading hyphen:

‘XMP-dc:subject'

Removing the leading hyphen did not help. But I found out, that I can just write 'Subject' into ResourceSpaces exiftool field to match the '-XMP-dc:Subject' that I wrote into the tag definition of ExifToolGUI.
