Good news - auto clip tagging & titling

I've spent a while working with the faces & clip plugins and am glad to announce that I've actually got it working well (and in a repeatable manner).  It looks like there's a slight glitch with the tagging part out of the box.  I think the "field to store tags in" doesn't get updated in the back end even when you change it in the front end.  Or else I did it wrong.

Anyway, I'm just so happy that I got it working that I wanted to share.  The attached image shows that (fed with a video) the clip service decided that "powder", "mountain", etc . . .  were good tags and "Snowboarder on slope" was a good title.

I think that's mighty impressive.

I'm planning on posting up some notes which consolidate the whole clip & faces thing in the near future   The steps I have will take someone from no RS at all, to an RS install with face & clip installed, running automatically as services and logging their transactions.

Hi David,

Really great to hear you're pleased with this development. We were all impressed out how well CLIP works on a system with no GPU (important for our hosting). It's just so fast!

We haven't had any other reports about the issue you described with the field not updating. I'd be happy to look into that for you if you could provide more information, or what would be perfect would be a screen video capture showing the issue?
