Version 9.7 - Error in uppy.js while trying to upload a resource - (fresh install)

I have a brand new installation using the default generated config.php.  All permissions were double-checked.  Filestore also had full write perms.  

It fails with an error in the uppy.js file.  This is evidently a new upload for version 9.7.  If I can't resolve it I'll have to back up to an older version.

Has anyone run into this?

For the record 9.6 without the uppy.js installer uploads files with no problems.  The installation procedure was otherwise identical.  This appears to be a bug / flaw on 9.7

I’m going to venture a guess that it is an artifact of the coming second phase of Uppy integration in the next release, which will permit server-to-server transfers. - J

Thanks Jeffrey.  I have had to revert to 9.6 until I hear of someone that has discovered the solution to it.
