Extremely slow response when on Guest Account

I found multiple threads about unresponsive Guest accounts.

Some solutions where to disable the collection bar. Which worked for some people.

I found that in the years (from version 8.6 to 9.6) my collection table (database) was filling up with millions of 'Default Collection' from Guest accounts.

These were automatically generated somehow and maybe still are. This I dont know.

Anyway, I ran the following database query:

delete from collection where name="Default Collection";

Now the RS is blazing fast again.

The table entries are still being created! This is on a open guest account setting. Clearly a small bug somewhere =).

Anybody able to fix this? In the meantime I run this query daily to avoid more issues.

Maybe not so much of a bug, more of not running the cron job 013 (remove_anonymous_collections.php).

Well, hopefully this will help other users in the future.
