I setup a couple resourcespace sites earlier this year. I'm setting up one now and I can't find anything on changing the styling and logo on the login page. I've changed it successfully for users after they've logged in to the site. I've tried changing the title images ./gfx/[stylename]/titles/title.gif but that hasn't helped.

Somehow I got the login page customized on the other sites I setup earlier this year... I think I used a plugin that isn't available anymore.

Anyone know what I need to change? I've looked at the global.css but I don't see it pointing to any images for the title.

Thanks!

The logo in the ./gfx/[stylename]/titles/title.gif is global and should reflect on all the pages . Even in the login page. Normally the way RS does all the get requests, things shouldnt be cached. But sometimes the logo and all seem to be cached. Clear you browser cache and refresh. That way you will probably be able to see the new logo, assuming all other things are correct.

Which style does the login page use? I created a custom style and I'd like to make the login page use the custom style. How would I tell it to use that custom style?

njenney, I've been up and down http://wiki.resourcespace.org/index.php/Customising_Site_Design and I've yet to see anything about the login page. I think that should be part of that tutorial though!

colwhitegry is the default. Umm, for custom styles writing a plugin is a better idea than changing it from the main css. Theres an example provided straightaway. You can use that as the starting point.

Thanks. I'll look into doing that. Changing the title.gif in whitegry did it for me. It must have been a browser cache issue when I did it before. Thanks!

glad that it helped. Write plugins and keep things modular. Saves a lot of headache while upgrading!
