Hi,

I just installed a clean install of resourcespace on a CentOS 6 server.
MySQL is working, and apache/PHP etc. all work fine (I also have a wordpress site running on this box).

However, I've tried installing RS both manually (via ZIP file) and via SVN.
The setup all seems to work fine until...

the login screen.   All I get is the RS logo at the top, then a blank page.
The error I get from the apache log is:

[Mon Mar 24 16:15:41 2014] [error] [client 10.*.*.*] PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function mb_strtolower() in /var/www/html/resourcespace/include/general.php on line 458

Anyone have any ideas?  I've fell over at the first hurdle!

Many thanks in advance.

mbstring may not be installed or enabled in your version of php.

That sorted it, thanks very much.
For the record, this was resolved by:  yum install php-mbstring
then service httpd restart (to restart apache).
Thanks again.

DDB Test and Tom,
We are running CentOS as well 6.4.  I would curious to know if you are also installing UNOCONV? It's not quite working for us as it did when we were on Ubuntu. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
MRP

Greetings Mr. Patulski.
I can confirm that I do not have "UNOCONV" installed on the server.   I hope this helps.
