I have imported my whole image collection with staticsync.php.
Unfortunately the images weren't rotated during the import.
Is there any way to rotate the previews in a bulk action?

Update_previews.php does't do the job.

set
$collections_compact_style=true;
and then there will be an Edit Resource Previews option in the dropdown of the collections panel, where you can rotate multiple previews at the same time.

This will still require you to group them into groups by the amount of rotation needed and then rotate them manually. And it will only affect the previews, not the original resources. (Which may be what you intend - I'm not sure.)

If you are talking about autorotating the originals based on camera metadata, this is supported on upload, but there is currently no way to do it for existing images.

I have started to work on a new addition to the transform plugin that would allow you to transform collections of images all at once. Right now there is a test version that allows you to rotate, but seems to still have a few bugs (starting with the fact that I just noticed it doesn't work on my laptop!) It does not know how to autorotate, although adding this might be an interesting possibility to add...
