"Search for Similar Resources" does not show keywords.

I'm running the latest svn at the time of writing, r7253. Plugins include checkmail, embedslideshow, format_chooser, pdf_split, rse_reponsive, svn and transform.

I have added new metadata fields and enabled indexing on those that I wish to have appear in the simple or advanced search box, I also have checked the option to "Use for find similar searching", but to date (with one exception outlined below), the only item that has appeared at the bottom of the page in the Search for Similar Resources area has been the country tag. I enter comma separated values (including a space at the beginning of each value) into the keywords multiline box for each resource uploaded, but none of these will appear in the "search for similar" field.

I also created a "user access restriction" metadata field with checkbox options for values such as general, restricted, family etc. This is used as a search filter in the group advanced options to help control what some users are able to view and works well. Funnily enough, these values DO appear in the "search for similar".

Please explain what I'm missing here and how to get relevant keywords into the "search for similar". The only difference between this metadata field and all the others, including keywords that don't populate this area, is that it uses checkboxes rather than line or multiline entry. Am I entering the keywoirds correctly, i.e. as comma delimited tags - or should I be doing this another way.

Starting a couple of releases ago the 'find similar' box will only use fixed list keywords (checkbox, dropdown, dynamic dropdown, category tree). Previously it had used plain text fields (like your keywords field) but the results were mixed at best.

You should convert your keywords field to a dynamic dropdown field if you want it to work in this area.

I'm experiencing the same issue Jeffrey ran into. None of my assets have any similar resources showing up. All of my fields that are set as "Use for similar searches" are one of the supported field types (checkbox, drowpdown, dynamic keyword list, category tree) and are indexed so I'm at a loss.
