API: do_search against modified dates

Hi, 

How should you run a do_search query against the modified date in ResourceSpace via the API? 

I have it working using "date" which in the field mappings relates to the created date. There is no mapping for the modified date of an asset to target in this way. 

I can see the modified date stored against the asset in the ResourceSpace database, so is there a way that can be surfaced in order to search against it?
