I have been trying to configure external library PDFjs for previewing PDF files, without success so far.

As suggested in the RS knowledge base, I have

$use_pdfjs_viewer = true;

set in Resource type "Override config options" . The user has full access to the resource. The resource holds a pdf file type.

Despite the above settings  RS does not replace the jpg preview of a PDF document with the PDFjs viewer.

Have I missed something?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just wanted to add : this functionality is  intended to be used for an important project which plans to set up a RS database of several thousand single-page PDF files only . There will be no other resource  type like  video, image, audio etc in the database.

This has been my experience too.

Hi,

It works for me with RS 9.1.

However, for some reason, I have an error 500 as my user do not have full access to the resource.
How can I give full access to this particular resource type?
Here
IF the user has full access to the resource

They explain why but not how.
If I activate the 'v' permission for the user via groups, it works but I do not want to do that and give access to all confidential and so on...

Any idea guys?
