A view that I have not seen before

A couple of users have reported this to me but I haven't seen it myself until now. I have a Recent link at the top of the page and it currently brings back a view that looks like this:

It's a set of tiles that represent collections. The Title will take you to the collection, Select will Select the collection and View does the same thing as the Title. It would be nice to be able to search for collections and get this view but it seems to appear randomly. The URL for this particular display is:
