Hello,

How to set original filename of uploaded image to be placed as Title (resource metadata)? I am trying to find this at System setup in Team Centre, but no luck;(
For example, if I upload file from my hard drive, "sunny_day.JPG" to ResourceSpace (RS), I always have to enter Title (resource metadata) manually or some default title is triggered. Is it possible if I upload "sunny_day.JPG" that Title of uploaded image is automatically called "sunny_day"?

Any help is appreciated and many thanks in advance for prompt replies!

Sorry, I searched it already and RS gruop but I couldn't find it- Thant is why I opened this thread. For issues I could find solution for on Wiki, I solved it and I didn't have no need to post thread but for this one I have to, really-

Hi

This means that you can either have a Title... or you can use Filename.    What if you want to use Title where possible, but if Exiftool does not pick up a title, then the filename without extension is used as the title?   Rather than having a user enter a line of text which is then applied to all items in a batch..?  And that filename may be overwritten with an apt line of text at a later date?  (but without writing that title back to the filename either)
