I just started using ResourceSpace and it works just fine but, in the
future how to add multiple drives to increase size of filestore when
space runs out?
Thanks for your time.

How I do it: I create a symbolic link from filestore to a filestore
folder on the remote drive.

For finer-grained partitioning you can split a level deeper, e.g. you
could link 0 to 4 on to folders on one drive and 5 to 9 to folders on
another drive.

A better solution might be to use a NAS which will automatically
create one large volume from lots of smaller disks. Or you could do
this on the server itself (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanned_volume)

I am currently using multiple NAS devices from Buffalo that can
publish their complete capacity as iSCSI volumes. I then aggregate
these into a single logical volume on the ResourceSpace server using
the Linux logical volume manager. We eventually plan to implement a
larger scale storage solution, but are still in the planning stages on
this.

As Dan implies, there are a lot of different ways to do this -- it's
really a unix system administration question more than a ResourceSpace
question.

Thanks so much, That's what I thought also but tried the symbolic link
(alias) to filestore folder on another drive on a Mac xserve but did
not work, also tried at the beginning install, adv settings, remote
storage location, but that did not work also. Thanks again for your
help.
