Interestingly, I wasn't able to open the CR2 in Photoshop CS5 until I upgraded to Adobe Camera Raw 6.7. And when I preview it using the Picasa image viewer gizmo, it looks normal at first and then the pink cast is overlaid a second or two after opening it. So whatever it is appears to be related to some change in the CR2 format used by the Mark III that is not yet supported by all software.
Since since RS uses ImageMagick and UFRAW to deal with these files, I'd say the first step might be to try using these tools directly to see if the problem still exists. If so, it would be a matter of tracking down a solution for these packages.
FWIW, this is partly why we avoid using camera-native raw formats on our system --
they are just too poorly documented and unstable. For most photography,
we save a TIFF (maybe eventually a JP2, but that's another story) as
the master, and then attach a DNG as an alternative, DNG is (supposedly,
anyway) somewhat open, so I have more faith in it as
a format that things like CR2, NEF, 3FR, FFF, etc. which are manufacturer (and sometimes even model)-specific, and subject to change at any time.
