Hi everyone,

I work for a large environmental nonprofit organization and we are
looking into using ResourceSpace for our DAM needs. Before we can hire
someone to help us develop a system, I need to show the Execs what the
system looks like. The standard ResourceSpace demo is a bit lacking in
showing how it can be customized. I'd appreciate if someone would be
willing to share a guest user login to their site so I can show what
can be done.

I appreciate the help!

Thanks,
Megan

Hi Megan

If you look through the forum you will find a number of sites using RS
for public collections, eg Syracuse University (https://
collage.syr.edu) mentioned today, Oxfam Australia (http://
www.oxfam.org.au/resources/pages/home.php), and the like.

There are also companies like shotfarm (www.shotfarm.com) who have
really customised RS and moved it into the AWS cloud, and there are a
number of commercial RS hosting companies who may be able to show you
samples.

Perhaps if we get enough response to this thread, it can be promoted
into the wiki, because this is a subject which is very difficult to
search for.

Regards
John

I am also looking for examples of RS implementations to share with the
higher-ups--count me in as far as promoting this thread to the wiki...

Thanks,
Elizabeth

If you do a Google search on...

'Powered by ResourceSpace: Open Source Digital Asset Management'

That will at least show you examples of folks who have kept the footer
intact and have public facing sites. There are a ton. A lot of
universities are getting on the bandwagon.

If you keep paging you will see some high powered organizations are
using RS. ESPN, Volkswagen Germany, Oxfam, etc.

Thanks for the idea there njenney, but Megan specifically asked for
sites she can get into to see what's different - and just googling
shows how many people use the standard interface and themes.

Your list from September might be a better place to start -

VW Germany has a nice home page, but no public access
http://92.51.184.20/vwz_media_data_center/login.php?url=%2Fvwz_media_data_center%2F

World Land Trust have a problem with their security... but they have
used the green theme, which looks good

ESPN have tweaked it a bit, and have public access
http://espnmediazone3.com/rs/pages/home.php

Zagg.com don't even change the name, but use the black color scheme
and allow public access
http://appleshield.com/zoig/index.php

Found all those through Google.
