I'm more than happy to give ResourceSpace credit but I'd like to change some of the branding. I can't seem to find where to do that.

On the login page I'd like to change "Welcome to ResourceSpace, please login" to "Welcome to MyArchive, please login".

The "Powered by ResourceSpace Open Source Digital Asset Management" is fine

Once logged in I'd also like to change the "Welcome to ResourceSpace 9.0" to something welcoming the user to this particular DAM.

How do I customize these two items.

Thanks!

Duane,

When logged in as an admin, go the to hamburger menu on the top right, then click "System > Manage Content." On the page that appears, you can find the text you want to change and edit it. You can also get to this page by adding "/pages/admin/admin_content.php" to your installation's base URL in your browser.

Excellent! Thank you!

I can't say I've been thorough in my reading of the docs but I've browsed them from beginning to end a few times. I did not see this there. I would not have figured this out without your help.

I made the changes but found that I also had to change the language to "American English" which is the login language. They were set to "British English".

There's one setting that does not allow me to change it. That's the "setup-welcome" and the language is stuck on "zh-CN" which I believe is Chinese. Probably Mandarin. No matter what I do it does not change.

I have two other versions of ResourceSpace on my development server: 8.4 and 8.6. I can make the change to the "setup-welcome" on 8.6 but not 8.5.

Not sure what the issue with 8.4 and 9.0 might be. Suggestions?

I've got this working on all 3 sites but my confidence in the change is not so high. It's getting the "setup-welcome" language changed from "zh-CN" to "en-US" Here's what I did in case it helps anyone else.

I noticed that one of the sites config.php had this line: $defaultlanguage = 'en-US'; while 2 did not.

I added the line to the 2 that did not have it. It worked fine for one but not the 9.0 version. So I eliminated it and it's been OK since.

After making changes I did thing like logout and login. Also restarted the server. Not sure why but the 9.0 doesn't seem to like that line in the config.php file.

Cheers! I'm glad my advice helped.

Thanks for posting how you resolved the bug with the "setup-welcome" text.
