Role: ETL Data Engineer/ Lead/ Architect

Job Description:
Proven track record in having built data marts / tables in Teradata using stored procedures optimized for reporting, using Hadoop base tables with large volume of data
· Ability to visualize and bridge the gap between 300 million daily row count base tables in Hadoop to just ~30 daily row count reporting tables in Teradata
· Strong data modeling skills (logical, physical)
· Strong SQL skills
· Ability to understand and explain nature and type of reporting metrics built in reporting tables
· Past experience in tuning poor performing stored procedures, queries using innovative yet simple methods
· Ability to clearly articulate when to use Hive vs Spark vs other Hadoop query engines
